ANDREW STEWART

Former professional player Andrew Stewart worked as assistant national coach in Sweden before taking up his role with Ulster Badminton. He is one of only five coaches selected for Badminton’s Elite coach programme, giving him continued personal development through online learning modules, access to the GB National centre and mentoring from the GB National coach. Among Andrew’s innovations is a Badminton Footwork to Music DVD which encourages young players to develop their agility at the same time as their skills.

Andrew was the winner of the 2015 Performance Development Coach of the Year Award. He is pictured on the right with Trust Chairman Mark Taylor and 2015 runner-up, Siva Ramasamy
